The Friction String Quartet will premiere STRIFE AND LOSS (2024) at Hidden Valley Music Seminars, 104 W. Carmel Valley Ro. on Sunday, October 13, at 3 PM. "Strife and Loss" is a very personal expression of my own journey through Alzheimer's disease which has curtailed the life of my wife, Julia. Also on the program will be "Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie," a song by Edward Moncrief, arranged for String quartet by me.
