Monogram: Alexander George Macy was written on the occasion of the birth of my son. The piece is a single movement for solo flute based loosely on the representation of pitches in his name. The piece was written for Rose Rinder, flutist, who’s performance is heard below. Rose recently created a new version for amplified flute with effects. The video is a performance by Lars Johannesson.
