RBG – Making Waves was composed in honor of Ruth Bader Ginsberg (1933-2020), pioneering Supreme Court Judge from 1993 till her death.  As a canny and driven advocate for gender equality and women’s rights, RBG made many Supreme Court waves that will be felt for a long time to come.

RBG – Making Waves was collaboratively composed for solo amplified flute with and for flutist Rose Rinder, who created the electronic modification plan for the piece.  Lars Johannesson performed in the video posted here.
