Spring Music was composed for Christine Dahl, and it represented the final installment of the 4 seasons, Winter Music having been composed the previous year for the St. Paul Civic Symphony conducted by Edouard Forner. Christine recorded Spring Music along with Autumn Music on one of the first records issued by INNOVA.
