“The Passion of Matthew Shepard” was created as pre-show music for a 2012 Macalester College production of “The Laramie Project.” The track includes the sound of wind, rhythmic and textural creations using Finale and general midi, and electronically modified music from my incidental music for “Angels In America.” In 1998, Matthew Shepard was beaten, tied to a fence on a windy hill outside of Laramie, Wyoming, and left to die alone.
