Shades of Gold, originally for a duo of alto sax and cello, has been revised and imagined for Bb clarinet and viola. The original ensemble dis-banded before performance became possible.
I created the movement titles (and musical images) before beginning composition. The movements are: 1. Golden Sun; 2. Golden Slumbers; 3. Gold Digger.
